Missy earned her paralegal degree in Florida in the early 1990s when the paralegal profession was fairly new. In 1998, Missy and her daughter moved to North Carolina and she has been a state certified paralegal in North Carolina since that time.
Missy has worked alongside Lynn since 2015. They are an amazing team who work well in tandem to offer the highest level of service to their clients. Missy is an incredible resource for our clients as she is knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and empathetic. She has a fun, outgoing and friendly personality. Not only that, but she is a compassionate person—a quality that is almost a non-negotiable in a domestic law paralegal given the sensitive and emotional nature of the practice.
Prior to working at Krueger-Andes Law, Missy worked as a paralegal at multiple prestigious family law firms in Charlotte. Missy is an exemplary paralegal and person in every way. Not only does she know North Carolina Family Law inside and out, she is incredibly familiar with the Local Rules and what needs to be done in each stage of a case. Missy was a “must-have” when opening Krueger-Andes Law and she is the best partner in practice that Lynn could ask for.
When Missy is not busy helping clients, she loves “antiquing” and traveling, particularly back home to Florida, as often as possible. Her biggest passion though is spending time with her family, particularly her granddaughter [who also loves to come play in the firm’s playroom].

Client testimonials:
I had the opportunity to work with Missy during a particularly difficult time in my life. Missy was working as a paralegal for the attorney that I had hired to help me to establish paternity and visitation with my new born son. I sincerely felt that she took a personal interest in me, my son, my case and my life. It was apparent very early on in my dealings with Missy that she was someone with a big heart who cared not only about her work but about the people that she worked with. Her intelligence was also something that I saw very early on and I felt at ease in knowing that someone who was very smart and knowledgeable had my best interests in hand. I honestly believe that if it wasn’t for Missy, my relationship with my son wouldn’t be what it is today. She encouraged me and helped to interject some much needed humor into the entire situation when it was needed and I know that she found great delight in the successful outcome once my case was completed. These days, I consider Missy not just someone that I knew but as someone that I can trust and count on as a human being. She is the type of person that you never forget and in an instant I know that she would have the right advice based upon both knowledge and wisdom. This type of person is sorely lacking in the world today and I feel grateful to know her and I consider her a friend to this day.
I met Missy as a client going through a complex and difficult divorce. I spent many hours working directly with Missy and was impressed with her knowledge, efficiency, and professionalism. Not only is Missy very skilled professionally, she has a wonderful gift for managing her clients and making them believe that they are important and their work is her top priority. Missy is an excellent communicator, consistently delivers excellent quality work and provides real value to her clients. She also has a warm personality and a great sense of humor that helps her clients through emotionally difficult situations. I often worked with together with Missy and my attorney and it was clear to me that he respected her as a true professional, solicited her input regarding both strategic and technical legal issues, and had confidence in the quality of her work.
